Facilities and Services Management – Engagement and Motivation
Date(s) - September 20th, 2017
11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Borden Ladner Gervais LLP
Facilities managers are faced with the challenge every day on how to keep employees motivated and engaged while juggling the reality that there is little to no room for growth in the department. We have invited our guest speaker, Diane Cronk, to come back and present us with part 2 on this topic.
The purpose of this session is to discuss the remaining topics from our first meeting together: Managers as Leaders and Community-Oriented Working Environments. The goal is to collaborate and create a foundation of thoughts and ideas regarding motivating employees with no room for growth, and how you as a leader can contribute to their success within the firm. The discussion will generate opinions and ideas, and will be facilitated with a prepared agenda in order for all participants to take away a great deal of informative material.
Diane Cronk, CHRP, Certified Professional Coach, works as a Senior HR Advisor with Arlyn Recruiting. Prior to joining Arlyn, Diane worked 20+ years in law firms, beginning her career as a Legal Administrative Assistant. She holds her CPHR designation, is a graduate of the HR Diploma program at BCIT, and has an undergraduate in Psychology and Sociology from SFU. Diane is a Certified Coach through SFU and is currently completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. In addition to recruiting, Diane works as an HR consultant and collaborates with Office Administrators to find solutions for HR concerns.
Lunch will be served starting at 11:30am. This session is jam packed so we will be starting right at noon. Please ensure you are on time.
Cost is $25 per person. Please make cheques payable to 'Borden Ladner Gervais LLP'.
